I quit my jobs. Yes, that’s right… jobs.
Of course not as a makeup artist, but I quit my other jobs. I have not been feeling fulfilled and I have been somewhat naive in trusting others to be responsible for my career growth. Quitting is my way of taking control of my future. Unfortunately, staying and waiting for promotions have prevented me from finding better opportunities. I have been working several jobs to pay my bills with the hope of someday being promoted.
This is the first step for me to take control of my life and career. I am the only person responsible for my future. I am feeling a huge relief with the new opportunity I have been given.
In better news, I have accepted an offer that will allow me to have more responsibility, to grow, and more compensation. my new position will be in the beauty space and I am thrilled to be sharing my journey!
